I have been an auditor of Kaupapa Māori mental health services, a mental health support worker and contributed to a number of kaupapa  over the years.  My strengths are drawn from  Te Ao Māori and whanau.  I have been a guide at Te Whakarewarewa, Rotorua and a performer for various Māori concert parities:  Kahurangi Māori Dance Company, Te Rautahi, Tuhourangi Ngati Wahiao.

I developed and delivered recovery programme for whanau whaiora and worked with tungane Paraire in Waikeria, Rangipo, Mangaroa whaiora focus units.  I have delivered Māori models of practice in the Midland region alongside Phyllis Tangitu, the late Eru Potaka Dewes and late Whaea hiria.   I enjoy composing waiata, teaching kapa haka at Mokopuna kura.  I cater for Taketake wananga monthly in Rotorua. We have six tamariki and six mokopuna and as a whanau our upbringing has been to serve our people and manaaki.
