Hui Matawara: Māori Mental Health And Addictions Workforce

Starting in March, Te Rau Matatini invite kaimahi Māori working with whānau Māori in the mental health and addiction areas to share your workforce needs and aspirations through Hui Matawara. These hui are for Māori kaimahi working at all levels, including managers, team leaders, and senior practitioners. Starting from the 7th of March, Te Rau Matatini will be holding Hui Matawara to hear your perspectives.  So far two hui are scheduled to take place in Kirikiriroa, and another two will take place in Te Tai Tokerau.  In each region, one hui will be dedicated to kaimahi Māori working in the Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) sector, and the other will be for kaimahi who work within District Health Boards (DHB).

These hui will be facilitated by Moe Milne and Te Rau Matatini.  Take this chance to give feedback on current Māori workforce developments happening in the national space and inform future Māori workforce developments.
