Te Tuhonohono Anō Reconnecting

E ngā reo e ngā mana tēnā koutou katoa. He mihi whanui tēnei ki a koutou e awhi nei i tēnei kaupapa a Te Rau Matatini.

We wish you a happy and healthy Tau Hou 2017! As our tamariki return to their schools and we are all getting back to our routines, we can see and hear more and more of our networks reconnecting with us. Ngā mihi ki a koutou katoa.

Waka Hourua will continue to provide a strong conduit for Te Rau Matatini and Le Va as the National Māori and Pasifika Suicide Prevention Programme to significantly contribute to Māori and Pasifika communities dealing with the effects of self-harm and suicide.

Te Rau Matatini will be hosting a range of events across the country, including Maori suicide prevention training.  We look forward to contributing to the many partners and initiatives in New Zealand who aim to ‘make a difference’ and to build resilience in our communities.  We look forward to “reconnecting” with you in the coming months.

Please keep up to date on our news and events information link to Kōrero and on our Waka Hourua news page at What’s Happening.

Tihei mauri ora!  #MāoriOra
